OU Kosher CEO Rabbi Moshe Elefant Visits the Skverer Rebbe
|
The leadership of OU Kosher, led by newly appointed CEO Rabbi Moshe Elefant, visited the Skverer Rebbe, shlita, on July 16, 2026. The Rebbe was most impressed to learn about the organization’s high standards, the structure of the OU Kosher staff, its checks and balances, the responsibilities of rabbinic coordinators and rabbinic field representatives, and the scope and reach of OU Kosher. Additionally, the Rebbe was fascinated to learn about innovations that the OU is bringing to such areas as the kashrus verification of STAM (Sifrei Torah, Tefillin, Mezuzos), shaatnez, and sheimos. The Rebbe, shlita, gave his blessings for continued hatzlacha to the rabbanim and the vital organization they lead.
