Baruch Dayan HaEmes  With great sorrow, HTC mourns the loss of our Yeshiva's longtime guidance counselor, basketball coach and general studies principal Mr. Sheldon Schaffel, A"H husband of Mrs. Cookie Schaffel, and father of Rabbi Mark Schaffel, Tzina (Cynthia) Stein, Rabbi Gershon Schaffel, Caryn Gerecht, and Jordana Epstein. The levaya took place in Israel. Shiva is in Yerushalayim, Derech Chevron 91, Dirah 16, 4th floor Shacharis 8:00AM Mincha 7:10PM Maariv 7:55PM Rabbi Gershon Schaffel will be coming back to Skokie on Sunday afternoon, May 5th, arriving for Mincha. He will be sitting Shiva at his home, 3555 Arcadia St., Evanston. Shiva will conclude after Shacharis on Tuesday morning.
