Dear All Torah Friend,

Teshuva

Our founding visionary and sponsor Mr. Stephen Neuwirth passed away tragically at age 60 after a brief and tragic battle with pancreatic cancer.  On Yom Kippur 2022, just over 3 months before Steve passed away, he shared a message with those that came to daven with him at his home minyan. I encourage you to take 2-3 minutes to read his message below in its entirety.

With the perspective and peace of mind of a pure Jewish soul staring death in the face, Steve a'h realized how much of our lives are filled with clutter and distractions.  His words have been a powerful message for myself and continues to penetrate my heart and mind.

Last year, Rabbi Aryeh Lebowitz, among other shul Rabbis, used Steve's speech as the foundation of what they shared with their congregants before Ne'ilah. Recently, Rabbi Lebowitz shared with me how this message was a life changer for him and he agreed to publicly share his thoughts with us, hoping that others may be inspired, as well.

Tefila

As we approach Yom Kippur, I kindly ask that you have us - the Magidei Shiur and all those involved in your learning - in mind for continued Siyata d'Shmaya and strength to continue disseminating Torah at the highest level, without major challenges and setbacks. The power of tefila by those who make special commitments and sacrifices for daily learning is very powerful. Every tefilah counts and is appreciated.

Tzedaka

Thank you to all those who have so generously supported us in the past and continue to support us.  As Yom Kippur approaches, we ask you to partner with us in the All Torah, All Year 360 Campaign. You can play a crucial role in supporting Torah learning all day, every day by joining the All Torah, All Year campaign with a contribution of $360, just $1 for each day.  Your name will be displayed here on our 360 Scroll of Honor. Please see below for other dedication opportunities.

Wishing you and your family a Gmar Chasima Tova,

Rabbi Moshe Schwed
