Lechvod Daf Yomi Maggidei Shiur and Contacts,

With just a few blatt remaining until the forthcoming siyum on Maseches Sanhedrin, excitement is running high in the Daf Yomi world. Tens of thousands of lomdei hadaf will be celebrating the siyum, marking a formidable achievement of daily dedication to limud haTorah b'kvius.

History has repeatedly shown that siyumei masechtos in the Daf Yomi cycle serve as some of the greatest catalysts for limud haTorah. How many people are now finishing Maseches Sanhedrin in just a few days, having begun learning Daf Yomi due to the inspiration and enthusiasm of the past Siyum HaShas?

In the spirit of striking while the iron is hot, the Department of Torah Initiatives of Agudath Israel of America is once again reaching out to Daf Yomi maggidei shiur and contacts with the following items to assist them in, be'ezras Hashem, bringing even more Daf Yomi learners into their shiurim and communities, while helping to maintain those who are already participating and encouraging those who wish to begin a new shiur. To that end, we are offering the following:

  1. Beautifully designed posters for you to hang in your beis hamedrash, heralding the new masechta.
  2. A comprehensive list of sefarim currently available on Maseches Makkos.

The Department of Torah Initiatives is working on numerous other exciting initiatives. If you have any suggestions, we would love to hear from you.

Wishing you much hatzlacha as you begin Maseches Makkos.

Rabbi Yitzchok Hisiger

Director of Torah Initiatives

Agudath Israel of America

As we prepare for the upcoming Siyum Hashas, we plan to spotlight various Daf Yomi Shiurim worldwide through video interviews with maggidei shiur and lomdim. Our main goal is to gather and share inspirational stories.

It would be a tremendous help if you could think about and discuss with your shiur any potential stories we could share with Klal Yisroel to encourage learning. Here are a few ideas to consider:

* A lomeid with a unique vocation and how it ties into their Daf Yomi learning.

* Someone who shows exceptional dedication to learning, overcoming significant obstacles.

* A specific instance of Siyata D'Shmaya experienced by a Daf Yomi learner.

* The unexpected positive effects of learning on a lomeid's family.

Finding these stories will be a great help in identifying willing interview participants.

Please also let us know the best time to conduct these interviews, for example, if after the shiur works or if there are any time constraints due to other commitments.

Thank you so much for your help!
