A Message from Rebbetzin Dr. Adina Shmidman

Dear Friend,

Today, 11 Cheshvan, marks the yahrzeit of Rachel Imeinu. We remember her as a symbol of selfless greatness — the one who gave the signs to Leah and whose tears for Klal Yisrael continue to flow through the generations. Many amongst us have been privileged to visit her kever, where the depth of emotion and prayer of those gathered testifies to her enduring presence.

Rachel’s silence protected Leah’s dignity; her cries express her enduring love for her children. Her example reminds us to respond to the needs of others with sensitivity, care, and heartfelt tefillah.

In commemoration of her yahrzeit, we invite you to watch “When Silence Speaks: The Secret Strength of Rachel Imenu” with Mrs. Jaclyn Sova, part of our Tears of Hope program, available on demand.

Watch here

Please take a few moments today to recite several perakim of Tehillim for those in need of refuah, strength, and yeshuah, and for the well-being of Klal Yisrael. May Hashem receive our tefillot with compassion and bless our people with peace.

All the best,

Rebbetzin Dr. Adina Shmidman
