This Shabbos, Yerushalmi Yomi finishes Seder Moed.

620 dafim, 12 masechtos, 2000 learners, 46 countries

We asked learners to tell us why they started and what it's been like.

Many wrote in and recorded messages. We collected the best of them, together with words from the maggidei shiur, into a booklet.

Yevamos daf alef.

Rabbi Zecharia Resnik put it this way: the end of Seder Moed deals with hilchos aveilus, and we just came through Tisha B'Av, destroyed by sinas chinam.

Seder Nashim opens with Yevamos, a man marrying his brother's widow purely as a good deed for his brother. Sinas chinam took the Beis HaMikdash down.
