Dear Alumni and Friends,
February has been an exciting month of learning in HTC's Beis Midrash, Kollel, Sarah Hartman Women's College of Touro and FYHS! Locally, our students have been making us proud, with FYHS students named finalists in the Young Jewish Innovators Challenge (YJIC) and kicking off the Pre-Pesach Chesed Trip Series at ChesedChicago. The Sarah Hartman Women's College enjoyed an engaging visit to the Museum of Science and Industry, and FYHS basketball had a standout month with multiple big wins, high energy, and strong school spirit.
Meanwhile, in Israel, Rosh HaYeshiva Emeritus Rav Avraham Friedman reconnected with alumni, bringing the warmth of HTC to those learning and living in Eretz Yisrael. The Sarah Hartman Women's College also hosted a beautiful Melava Malka at Ricotta, giving seminary students the chance to learn more about their future educational opportunities.
With Purim around the corner, HTC is gearing up for our annual Shalach Manos project! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who placed orders and supported HTC. Looking ahead, save the date for the HTC 3-on-3 Alumni Tournament and Family Fun Day on April 26-27! If you'd like to sponsor, contact Mordy Greenland at mgreenla2@touro.edu or (773) 664-6158.
Wishing you a joyful and meaningful Purim in the coming month!

Class: FYHS Class of 2002
Where do you live: Baltimore, Maryland
Tell us about your family: I'm married to Alissa and we have a 3 year old daughter Kayla
What is your profession: I am a Lawyer for the Department of Veterans Affairs
What is your favorite memory from FYHS/HTC/Kayitz: It might sound cliché, but some of my favorite memories are from the Yeshiva-Academy games, Torah Bowl, the infamous chimney episode, and the mercury fiasco. I also have great memories of the Camp Chi Shabbaton, the ski trip, and so many other amazing moments. Honestly, the list could go on forever!
A lesson/takeaway from your time at FYHS/HTC/Kayitz: As an out-of-towner, it was easy to feel isolated, but the Yeshiva always made an effort to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, especially for us dormers. I created a lot of bonds with my fellow dormers because. The lesson was to be sensitive to the dormers' loneliness. I always appreciated being welcomed into local communities on off Shabboses
What advice do you have for current students: If I could give any advice to current students, it would be this: work hard and don't take the easy way out. The only way to truly grow—whether in Limudei Kodesh, Limudei Chol, or sports—is to put in the effort. When I first started high school, I tried to take shortcuts, but I learned quickly that hard work pays off. By the time I graduated, I had put in the effort and ended up getting into a great yeshiva after high school, KBY. | | | Student Name: Doni Goldstein Grade:9th Grade, Class of 2028
