Dear Aneinu Members,
This Shabbos we read the parsha of Beshalach in which learn about the greatest miracle in Jewish history. Hashem splits the Yam Suf and the Jewish people walk through the sea on dry land. Trapped between the Egyptians and the sea, it must have looked hopeless.
However, for Klal Yisroel, nothing is ever hopeless! We live above nature because we have a unique relationship with the Creator of the Universe. The key is our emunah and bitachon. It was in the merit of their unwavering belief in Hashem's hashgacha pratis, their belief that if they waded into the sea Hashem would split it and bring them safely across, that brought about their salvation. When things look bleak and the world is dark we have to remind ourselves that this is just a test of our emunah and bitachon. Hashem is there behind the curtain, always watching and always taking care of us. He wants to shower us with goodness and He can do anything.
