Dear Amazon - Stop Selling Hate  Today, KnowUs, an initiative of Agudath Israel of America, sent a letter to Mr. Jeffery Bezos and the leadership of Amazon, demanding that the company cease selling products that incite hatred and violence against Israel.  The 7-page letter cataloged numerous products carried by Amazon which support the "freedom" of Palestine "from the river to the sea" or encourage violence against Jews or Zionists. By examining the history of the slogan, a not-so-subtle call for the utter elimination of Israel, and Amazon's own policies, it becomes clear that these products violate several Amazon seller policies.   Read more below, or by clicking here. One Billion Dollars Proposed to Counter Hate As the war in Israel continues, we have been experiencing an alarming rise in antisemitic attacks in the U.S.  Today, Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zwiebel, executive vice president of Agudath Israel, attended and spoke at Senator Chuck Schumer's announcement of his groundbreaking proposed one billion dollars in funding to counter acts of hate. Rabbi Avrohom Luban Testifies in Favor of $25,000,000 Security Bill Today, Rabbi Avrohom Luban, associate director of Agudath Israel's Florida office, spent the day in Tallahassee advocated on behalf of Florida's Orthodox Jewish community. He testified before two committees today, in favor of a security funding bill, which subsequently passed the two committees. This bill will increase security for funding for Jewish schools and institutions. "The Agudah is working on multiple legal, legislative, and advocacy fronts to assist and defend Israel in this pivotal moment.
