Israel on lockdown. Our Work Speeds Up.
Dear Herschel,
As you read this, much of Israel is at a standstill.
Schools are closed. Workplaces are shut. A nationwide lockdown is in effect. Sirens have been sounding. The government has ordered all residents, especially the elderly and vulnerable, to remain within immediate reach of shelter.
That means thousands of frail seniors, many with no family nearby, cannot leave their homes. Not for food. Not for medication. Not even for a breath of fresh air.
And yet, they must eat.
Colel Chabad's teams are moving swiftly across the country to deliver hot meals, pantry staples, and dignity right to the doorsteps of those who have no one else.
We're asking you to stand with us now.
Because while Israel pauses, we must not.
