| Dear Herschel, As the Yamim Noraim approach, we turn once more to Torah and tefilla, seeking guidance, reflection, and renewal. This past year has brought trials for our people. We continue to pray for the safe return of all the hostages, for the safety of our brothers and sisters who have been called to serve in the Israel Defense Forces, and for Jews across the world who continue to face challenges that test our faith and resilience. In the midst of these realities, the words of our tradition remain steadfast, offering strength, comfort, and a sense of hope. At Koren, we are privileged to serve Am Yisrael by bringing Torah and tefilla to life with care, clarity, and reverence. From the first Jewish Tanakh to the creation of the singular Kodesh font, from over 70 types of siddurim to preserving the teachings of Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz z"l and Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks z"l, our work seeks to ensure that the sacred words of Torah are accessible, meaningful, and speak to each generation. Koren has collaborated with hundreds of authors and institutions, producing over 1,300 titles. But beyond numbers, our joy comes from the study deepened, the prayers enriched, and the lives touched, from students in Israel to families and communities around the world who find in our texts a source of guidance, connection, and continuity. As we enter 5786, may we carry with us the voices of our people, the clarity of the written word, and the enduring lessons of Torah. May this year be one of health, strength, and blessing, a year in which our study, our prayer, and our shared dedication to Torah can illuminate each day, strengthen our hearts, and touch our souls.
