But, as is so often true of our people, amidst the horror, fear, and sadness, very quickly we started hearing stories of heroism, selflessness, hope, and love. It has been a profound honor to collect some of these stories in One Day in October: Forty Heroes, Forty Stories. The response has been as overwhelming as the stories themselves have been healing.
