Hello Ladies!
As I mentioned last night, The Agudah had a Chizuk and Tefillah Gathering last night. "Through our tears, we recognize that yesterday's jarring blow should spur us to draw closer to Hashem."

***********
Tu B'Shevat, is the 15th of Shevat and is celebrated this year TONIGHT Wednesday evening, January 24th, and TOMORROW, Thursday, January 25th.
Tu B'Shevat marks the beginning of a "New Year" for trees. This is the season in which the earliest blooming trees in the Land of Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit-bearing cycle.
Tu B'Shevat marks the beginning of potential.
Halachically, the "New Year for Trees" relates to the various tithes that are separated from produce grown in the Holy Land. These tithes differ from year to year in the seven-year Shemittah cycle. The point at which a budding fruit is considered to belong to the next year of the cycle is the 15th of Shevat.
Many mark the day of Tu B'Shevat by eating fruit, particularly from the kinds that are singled out by the Torah in its praise of the bounty of the Holy Land: grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, and dates.

Some have the custom of a Tu B'Shevat Seder.
1) Heard from Rebbetzin Tziporah (Heller) Gottlieb:
Buy 15 kinds of fruit, and between each fruit, say one of the 15 Song of Ascents - Praises (Shir Ha Ma'alot)
from Tehillim 120 - 134.
2) It was the custom of the famed Kabbalist Rabbi Isaac Luria ("Arizal") to eat 15 varieties of fruits on the 15th of Shevat.

Please note: This link CLICK HERE (courtesy of Kashrut.com and Star K) provides a list that lists the names of fruits, whether or not checking is required, and how the checking must be done for various fruits grown and purchased in the USA.
Please note: If outside Eretz Yisrael, - For fruits from Eretz Yisrael please only use with a reliable hechsher and ask your local Rav in order to avoid questions of orlah, terumos & maasros, and shmitah.

🌳🍇🌳Auspicious Time to Daven:🌳🍇🌳
Tu B'Shevat is an auspicious time to daven - especially for a beautiful esrog for Sukkos. It is also a wonderful time to thank Hashem for the blessings in our lives. And to daven that we produce "fruit" of Torah and Mitzvot. It is also an auspicious time to daven for shidduchim.
