TODAY IS THE DAY ... LET US BE GLAD AND REJOICE!

Dear Kehot Friend,

Today, the 14th of Kislev, marks the wedding anniversary of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, and the sixth Rebbe's daughter, Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, of blessed memory.

Speaking to his Chasidim, the Rebbe once referred to this day as "the day on which I was bound to you, and you to me."

In communities around the world, this auspicious day is celebrated for the blessings it brought to the Jewish people with the Rebbe's and Rebbetzin's devotion and dedication.

Let us mark this special day by sponsoring an original Yiddish work penned by the sixth Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak of Lubavitch, the Lubavitch Rebbe's Memoirs.

The Memoirs are a veritable treasure chest of Chasidic learning and lore, taking us back to the Eastern Europe of three centuries ago and the events leading up to the founding of the Chabad movement.

Please visit our website and dedicate this unique work of Chasidic history.

We thank you for your past and current generosity and participation.

With all good wishes.

Rabbi Yosef B. Friedman

"One who contributes from his wealth for the purpose of writing or publishing a book of a tzaddik  --

Behold, at any given time, and in any corner of the world, that a person studies from this book, the tzaddik on high evokes merit on behalf of the donor through whom the book was disseminated."

--The Rebbe (Igrot Kodesh, vol 2)
