Dear

With Passover around the corner, we hope that your preps are going smoothly, shmurah matzah, Haggadahs, and all the seder essentials have been arranged; your home is well on its way to becoming chametz-free, and you've even found a few minutes to brush up on some Seder insights.

All the preparations take on an added layer of (joyful) urgency this year, since Passover follows Shabbat, and everything must be done a full 24 hours earlier than usual (get the details on how that is done here). This special calendrical configuration also means that we'll be lighting candles three evenings in a row, creating a trifecta of spiritual light!

With blessings for a light-filled Passover,

Your Friends @ Chabad.org

P.S. Below we've selected some of our most popular and helpful resources from our Passover Site where you are sure to find everything you need to get ready for Passover. Be sure to check out our refreshingly beautiful and oh-so-functional Chabad.org Haggadah, which you can order or download for free for your Seder. And if you haven't sold your chametz yet, we offer a quick and easy way to do that online as well. And if you are still available for an invite, please let us know (or search our Seder Directory), so that we can host you!

2025 is one of those rare years when Passover begins on Saturday evening, as Shabbat departs.

One of the most important steps in getting ready for Passover is selling your chametz (leavened food) to a non-Jew. But why do we do this, and how does it actually work?
