Subject: Evening of Inspiration in memory of Eliyahu Moscowitz z"l. This Thursday.

ב״ה

Dear Friends,

The tragic shooting of Eliyahu Moscowitz Hy"d on the eve of Simchat Torah has left us all reeling in shock. We cannot be silent and allow this tragedy to inconspicuously pass through our lives without it making a difference. While police, politicians and the media, are busy with the search for the perpetrator, to ensure our communal safety, we must each take to heart to inspire ourselves and each other.

This is a time to make a difference in our personal lives, with positive resolutions that will galvanize our daily activity to fortify our families and communities, with a strengthened sense of faith in G-d and each other. This is a time to step up the spiritual security system that has held our people together for thousands of years.

Join hundreds of fellow members of our greater Chicago community for a special evening of inspiration, this coming Thursday evening, October 11th, at Congregation Bnei Ruven, 6350 N. Whipple, at 8:00 pm.

The guest speaker will be world renowned orator, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Jacobson from New York.

I assure you this is an event you don't want to miss. See flyer below.

With blessing that our community know no more pain and sorrow, and only goodness, kindness and happiness shall dwell in our midst.

Rabbi Meir Hecht
