
One aspect relating to the building of the Mishkan and the donation of its materials that is stressed by the Torah, is that it was all done voluntarily and out of good will on the part of the Bnei Yisroel. As the Targum Yonosan adds, coercion was not only unnecessary, it was discouraged. It sufficed for Moshe Rabbeinu to appeal to our benevolence to ensure that more than what was needed would be contributed.(AUDIO HERE)
