How do we say If HASHEM had not taken our ancestors out of Egypt we would still be slaves to Pharaoh?After all maybe circumstances would have changed,so that Egypt would have eventually freed us.Also why did we not return to Egypt after 3 days,as Moshe had originally promised Pharaoh?If the Arabs had not declared war on the jews in 1948,Medinas Yisrael would have been exclusively b/c of the decision of the UN.We would feel indebted to the UN.So HAKADOSH BARUCH HU didn't want Medinas Yisrael to be established this way.So to by Pharaoh he didn't accept the 3 day journey but the jews left anyway!If Pharaoh would have accepted it it would have been an incomplete geulah b/c we would have been indebted to Pharaoh.(for more see page 23)
