8:55PM ET: For the second time today, a 15-year-old riding a bicycle was struck by a vehicle in the Monsey community.
The latest accident happened around 8:20PM Thursday evening on Route 59 at Bates Drive – right near Monsey Glatt.
Hatzolah of Rockland County rushed to the scene and found the boy unresponsive with serious injuries. Paramedics responded and the boy was being transported to Westchester Trauma Center.

The vehicle which struck the child remained on the scene, and Ramapo police were investigating.
