OU Aneinu Support Florida's Evacuees

Dear Supporter, After witnessing what the people of Houston endured over the past week and a half, we again watch with trepidation as a category 5 storm has its sights set on the southeastern portion of the country. We pray that the storm changes course but at the same time, we must prepare for the worst. At this moment nearly 1,000 members of south Florida’s Jewish communities have made their way or are en route to Atlanta, whose Jewish community has graciously agreed to welcome evacuees with open arms and plenty of southern hospitality. The OU and RCA are working in coordination with the Young Israel of Toco Hills, Congregation Beth Jacob, the Jewish Federation of Atlanta, the American Red cross and the Georgia Office of Emergency Management to ensure that shelter and kosher food is available to all who need it. Your donation today helps support these efforts. Provisions are already on the way to Atlanta, and will arrive by tomorrow morning. By showing your support, you’ll help provide thousands of kosher meals a day, and make Atlanta's extraordinary efforts feasible. Donate now.. We will continue to monitor the storm's progress, and modify our emergency campaign as circumstances dictate. Thank you, Moishe Bane, President Orthodox Union Rabbi Elazar Muskin, President Rabbinical Council of America Allen Fagin, Executive Vice President Orthodox Union Rabbi Mark Dratch, Executive VP Rabbinical Council of America
