Subject: [chicago-aneinu] Help Arturo Venegas and Robert's Fish Market
Hello everyone,

We created this GoFundMe on behalf of our dad, Arturo Venegas, owner of Robert's Fish Market. As everyone knows, Robert's has been a staple on Devon Ave for many decades, providing fresh kosher fish to the entire community.

Unfortunately, on July 31st, Arturo was suddenly hospitalized and later diagnosed with a condition called Guillain-Barré syndrome that has left him in a state of paralysis and the inability to speak, requiring help from a ventilator to breathe.

We are raising funds in order to help cover Arturo's medical bills and further rehabilitation services such as occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy. These funds are also to help keep the fish market open to have the ability to provide kosher fish to the community again. (Days and times will be provided as soon as we can finalize our plans with the proper help. We appreciate your understanding.)

We know that our dad has helped many customers and people in their time of need, so we now ask for help and support from the community he has so proudly served for more than half of his life.

We don't have a timeline on when Arturo will return to the market, but we ask for your prayers for him to make a full recovery as he has a long road ahead of him that requires a lot of patience and rehabilitation.

Thank you all. We appreciate your support during this challenging time, and we know our dad will appreciate it too.
