| The events of last year's Simchas Torah attack sent shock waves throughout the Jewish world, spurring a deep awakening of countless neshamos and a collective display of Jewish pride and connection. One year onwards, Sichos in English is sharing an impactful maamar that discusses a relevant theme, entitled VeHayah BaYom HaHu of Shabbos Bereishis 5728. In this maamar, the Rebbe discusses the stirring and awakening that took place during and after the Six-Day War, building upon a message of the Frierdiker Rebbe about the sounding of the great shofar of Mashiach during World War 2. In light of the recent awakening and increased activity in the Jewish world, SIE feels it worthwhile to publish this Maamar and make it available in English for the first time. Perhaps the lessons of the Maamar shine a ray of light and provide inspiration and direction for us to draw upon in these rousing times. May we imminently merit the culmination of the true and complete Geulah. |
