Subject: Mourning a Tragic Loss and Renewing Our Commitment
To: agentemes4@gmail.com <agentemes4@gmail.com>
With broken hearts and profound sorrow, we mourn the loss of our colleague, Rabbi Tzvi Kogan, Tzvi ben Alexander HaKohen, OBM, HY"D, who, at just 28 years old, was brutally murdered by barbaric terrorists after being kidnapped on Thursday in Dubai. Rabbi Kogan and his wife, Rivky, served as devoted Chabad emissaries to the UAE, bringing light and Torah to their community.
We grieve this unimaginable loss, yet we reaffirm our commitment to ensure the light of Judaism and the Jewish people shines even brighter. Today, please take a moment to put on tefillin, give tzedakah, and strengthen your commitment to Jewish unity. Reflect on one way you can personally declare, "I am my brother's keeper," and act on it.
With a broken heart and with prayers for peace in Israel and for Jews around the world.
Rabbi Yitzchok Wolf
