OU Israel Celebrates Chanukat HaBayit for Its New HQ in Yerushalayim
OU Israel

This past Sunday, we held a Chanukat HaBayit for our new OU in Israel headquarters in Har Hotzvim. The evening's theme, Unity & Growth, reflected the OU's strategic vision for this move to expand our programming and impact thousands more English-speaking olim and at-risk Israeli teens in Yerushalayim and the entire country. Attendees included our president Mitchel Aeder, EVP and COO Rabbi Dr. Josh Joseph, OU Israel President Stuart Hershkowitz, OU Israel Executive Director Rabbi Avi Berman, board members, staff and volunteers, families impacted by the war, community leaders, and program participants.

The event featured highlights from our many programs and recognized Moshe Lion, Mayor of Yerushalayim, and Alon Davidi, Mayor of Sderot, in appreciation of their commitment and dedication to the residents of Israel and their partnerships with the OU. President Isaac Herzog shared a pre-recorded blessing for the OU commending the organization for its growth and expansion. We look forward to welcoming many more people into our new space, as we continue to expand our programming and partnerships.
