From an Aneinu member:
Hi Edie,
Hope all is well with you and the family and enjoying your Chanuka.
My niece had a baby girl yesterday and the baby had meconium in the amniotic fluid. It seems she got a hole in her lung from it and they had to intubate her. They transferred her today to the NICU at Long Island Jewish hospital from Staten Island Univ. where she was born. My niece had to deliver via C Section, and now they won't let her out of the hospital till Thursday (cord was around the babys head twice). She is nebach so depressed from this whole situation.
We are asking everyone to please say tehillim for Gittel bas Malka. Can you please pass that around to as many people as you can? Thanks very much.
Will keep you informed of the baby's status IYH.
Love, Chani
