Eida Gavaad Calling for Increased Tefilos; Recite Avinu Malkeinu (Sunday, July 8th, 2012) HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss Shlita, Gavaad of the Eida Chareidis is calling on the tzibur to increase limud torah and tefilos. The Gavaad at the end of last week called on heads of yeshivos and talmidei torah to add Avinu Malkeinu to shachris and mincha to tefilos for a 10-day period. Text of Kol Koreh follows: “בהיות ועדיין מרחפת סכנת גיוס בני הישיבות על עם ה’ היושב בציון, ועל גבינו חרשו חורשים על עמך יערימו סוד ויתייעצו על צפוניך “ואין כוחנו אלא בפה להתפלל ולקרוע שערי שמיים בתפילה ובתחנונים ולעמוד הכן במסירות נפש שלא להלכד ברשת טמנו לנו”, לשון המודעה. --
