In honor of Fran Broder's Elul birthday, by her family. In honor of Morris Zimmerman, by Fern Amper. You are part of a growing community of women joining together monthly on Rosh Chodesh for inspiration and connection. Elul is a month of reflection and growth, a point highlighted by the many acronyms given for the letters אֱ-ל-וּ-ל. Many are familiar with the acronym, אני לדודי ודודי לי, I am to my beloved and my beloved is to me, which represents the close relationship of Hashem and His people. Another meaningful acronym is את לבבך ואת לבב, (Devarim 30:6), Hashem will circumcise your heart and the hearts of your children. At this time of year, we ask Hashem to help us remove any external impediments that stand in our way as we attempt to draw closer to Him and improve our ways. May we be inspired to find the ways to come closer to Hashem as the month of Elul approaches. I look forward to meeting you virtually and being inspired together. Please join us this Thursday at 12 noon EDT to hear Rabbanit Shani Taragin on Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/91021471543 Or call 929-205-6099 Rabbanit Taragin is a noted Torah educator.
