ALL DAF

Dear All Daf User,

As you may recall from our previous email, last Sunday was the 87th yahrzeit of Rav Meir Shapiro of blessed memory, founder of Daf Yomi. We'd like to share some of the video responses we received from our Maggidei shiur:

Rabbi Eli Mansour: "The discipline that he [Rav Shapiro] provided us has proven itself once again to be a life saver."

Rabbi Zecharia Resnik: "Rav Meir Shapiro was the type of gadol that created and empowered other people to also be gedolim."

Rabbi Shalom Rosner: "Rav Meir Shapiro, we are all talmidim of his, and we're all his descendants..."

Rabbi Shloime Schwartzberg: "An intimate relationship [with the Talmud Bavli] is exactly what we're all looking for, and to that we all owe that great debt of gratitude to Rav Meir Shapiro."

Stay tuned for more details as All Daf will be making a Siyum on Maseches Eruvin on Sunday, November 22.

"Getting The Children Involved" is the topic of this week's two-minute video by Rabbi Mordechai Raizman, Executive Director of Associated Talmud Torahs (ATT) Chicago to share at the Shabbos table.
