News from the Agudah:

  •  Two quick reminders about events happening today:

  • Tonight, at 8:00 PM, Agudas Yisroel will be hosting an Asifah L'hisorerus dedicated to providing guidance and chizuk to the Klal during this difficult period. See below for more information.

  • Today is the 87th Yahrtzeit of R' Meir Shapiro ZT"L. In honor of the yahrtzeit the Daf Yomi Commission is sharing a full-length documentary about his life. See below for details. 
Asifah L'hisorerus
During these tumultuous times, it is important to not lose sight of Who is really in charge-Hakadosh Baruch Hu. We are completely in His hands. It is imperative that we strengthen ourselves in ruchnius, maintaining our focus on His desired path.  
 
This Sunday, October 25th, at 8:00 PM, Agudath Israel will be hosting an Asifas Hisorerus The event will begin with a recitation of Tehillim by Rabbi Hillel David, Rav, Khal Yeshivah Shaarei Torah and Chaver Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah.
 
Afterwards, four members of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah, Rabbi Shmuel Kamentsky, Rabbi Yitzchok Sorotzkin, Rabbi Yaakov Horowitz, and Rabbi Shimon Yehuda Svei will deliver divrei chizuk v'hisorerus.

Agudath Israel's Daf Yomi Commission Presents Only With Joy: The Life and Legacy of Rabbi Meir Shapiro
This Sunday will mark the 87th Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Meir Shapiro ZT"L, the founder of the worldwide Daf Yomi program. Agudath Israel's Daf Yomi Commission is pleased to present a full-length feature video describing the life and achievements of this Gadol b'Torah.
