שבוע שחל בו יום הבהיר י"א ניסן - שנת המאה ועשרים

שִׁ֗יר הַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת אֶל ה' בַּצָּרָ֣תָה לִּ֑י קָ֝רָ֗אתִי וַֽיַּעֲנֵֽנִי׃

עפ"ז מובן שכאשר בנ"י נמצאים בחשכת הגלות, יודעים שזהו לרגע קטן בלבד, והדבר תלוי רק בקריאה להקב"ה, וכאשר "קראתי" - עי"ז ששרים "משיח נאו" ואומרים "כי לישועתך קוינו כל היום" הרי בודאי ש"ויענני"... ושם שמחים "שיר המעלות" כל בנ"י ביחד עם משיח צדקנו ועם הקב"ה… (ז"ך מנ"א תשמ"ב - לצבאות ה')

When Yidden find themselves in the darkness of Galus, they are sure that it is just for a short moment, and it all depends on our cry to Hashem, and when "I call out" - by singing "Moshiach Now!" and saying "I await His salvation all day" - certainly "He will answer me" by bringing Moshiach, and together we will all go up to the Beis Hamikdash and celebrate "Shir Hamaalos."

This is our קראתי, this is how we call out to the Rebbe, saying We want Moshiach now, by learning his Torah and living Shir Hamaalos, that the song and joy comes even before the ויענני.

This Wednesday, Yud Alef Nissan, we would like to present to the Rebbe a list of people who have completed, or plan to complete, 120 Sichos. Those who will fill out their name on this duch at www.projectLikkuteisichos.org/11nissan will be entered into a raffle for $1200 in Kehos.

The 11 Nissan present is dedicated לזכות החתן יוסף והכלה המהוללה שושנה שיחיו אוסטפלד on the occasion of their chasuna.

As the end of this week is (almost) Pesach, try to complete the Sichos earlier in the week. Next week (week of Pesach, ending Shvi'i Shel Pesach) we will be learning Chelek Yud Zayin, Sicha Pesach Alef, and Chelek Tes Zayin, Sicha Hachodesh.

When Erev Pesach falls out on Shabbos, the Fast of the Firstborn is on Thursday. Is Thursday a replacement for Erev Pesach, or does it become the primary fast day? The relevance might be if a minor became an Bar Mitzvah on Friday, would he be obligated to fast or make a Siyum on Shabbos.
