Dear Friend,

Today is "Chai Elul," the 18th day of the month Elul. It is the birthday of the Chasidic movement, marking the birth of the "two great luminaries," Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov and Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, founders, respectively, of the general Chasidic movement and of the Chabad movement.

Their legacies, which transformed the Jewish world, continue to grow and thrive till this very day, as generation after generation are inspired by their teachings and follow in their footsteps.

It is a Yom Tov, a veritable Jewish festival for the Jewish people.

What better way to celebrate their enduring legacy than by dedicating a book of Chasidic teachings, in honor of their special day.

I encourage you to visit our dedication website and donate towards the publishing of your choice of book by the Rebbe, translated into English. Today is a most propitious day to help bring the teachings of our Rebbe to today's modern Torah student.

Please visit https://www.kehot.org/Dedicate/ and "adopt" a book today.

Thank you for your continuous support.

With all good wishes for a sweet and blessed New Year.
Rabbi Yosef B. Friedman

THE REBBE ON SPONSORING A PUBLICATION

"One who contributes from his wealth for the purpose of writing or publishing a book of a tzaddik,

"Behold, at any given time, and in any corner of the world, that a person studies from this book, the tzaddik on high evokes merit on behalf of the donor through whom the book was disseminated."
--The Rebbe
