We find ourselves in exceptionally challenging times. May our learning be a zechus for the safe and speedy return of our captives, the healing of our wounded, the safety of our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisrael, and help to protect all those fighting on the front lines.

Dear Friend,

You are part of a growing community of women joining together monthly on Rosh Chodesh for inspiration and connection. The month of Adar is known as an auspicious month for the Jewish people, a month of victory and celebration. The name of the month is related to the word "Adir," connoting strength and power. Just as this month was a time of strength and triumph in the days of Haman, so may it be in our time.

Please join the OU Women's Initiative today on ou.org/women/rc at 12 noon EST for our virtual Rosh Chodesh Adar Alef shiur with Mrs. Aura Sutton.

Mrs. Aura Sutton taught in the Brooklyn, NY Sephardic community for over 30 years at Magen David Yeshivah, Barkai Yeshivah and The Midrash- Allegra Franco. She has a BA in Jewish Philosophy and Judaic Studies from Brooklyn College, and a MA in Jewish Leadership from Gratz College. She is currently a doctoral student in the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration, Yeshiva University. Aura and her husband recently moved to Yerushalayim from Brooklyn.
