BRI PARSHA TIDBITS
"And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation; these are the words that you shall speak to the children of Israel." (Exodus 19:6)

Rashi's commentary elucidates that every Jew is considered a son of the King, and as such, possesses authority. This is expressed through the power of choice. The King, representing Hashem, can choose whatever He desires, and the Jewish people's strength lies in their submission to the dominion of the Divine. The more one subjugates themselves to the Kingdom of Heaven, the more they become a true master of their choices and free from worldly constraints.

As individuals become more enslaved to their desires and obedient to their whims, they subject themselves to the servitude of the earthly dominion. Unfortunately, today we find ourselves somewhat oppressed under the rule of the earthly dominion, evident in our materialistic pursuits.

Yet, our hope lies in the teachings of Rebbe Nachman. By strengthening the power of the holy dominion through his holy Torah teachings, we can overcome and triumph. Let us remember that we are the children of kings and free people.

Have a great Shabbos!
