We marvel at the gift of the outstanding defensive technologies we had available; at the near-perfect deployment of those technologies during the attack; and at the ready cooperation and partnership of the United States and other allies. At a time when we were feeling exceptionally alone, others came and stood with us as Hashem spread over us סוכת רחמים חיים ושלום, a protective canopy of mercy, life, and peace. As we assemble this Shabbat Hagadol, whether at our dining room tables or in our shuls, let us take a moment to reflect on this miracle. It is certainly not our strength and the might of our hands that achieved this. שירו לו זמרו לו שיחו בכל נפלאותיו. "Sing to Him, make music to Him, tell of all His wonders." מזמור לתודה הריעו לד' כל הארץ … בואו שעריו בתודה חצרותיו בתהילה הודו לו ברכו שמו Enter His gates with thanksgiving, His courtyards with praise; give thanks to Him, bless His name. | | | A True Kashrus Legend | Orthodox Union | In this fascinating episode of Oh, You?, our EVP and COO Rabbi Dr. Josh Joseph interviews Rabbi Yaakov Luban about his rich experience as Rabbinic Coordinator of OU Kosher for 40 years.
