From: "admin@CholimList.org" In the next day or two, Israeli President Shimon Peres is scheduled to meet with U.S. President Obama. Peres says that he will ask Obama to grant a pardon for Jonathan Pollard on humanitarian grounds. I had the pleasure of meeting briefly with the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Richard Stone this past Sunday. (A bit of name dropping). He spoke at a graduation and I asked him afterwards about Pollard. He replied that it is a very big week. For some reason, Pollard's pleas have not been positively received for over 26 years! What better way to break down the hardened hearts of those who reject Pollard's plea than to say some additional Tehillim these next couple days. Just think about it - over 26 years in harsh conditions. Wouldn't you want it be done for you! Please daven for Yehonaton ben Malka.
