CMC Launching Exciting New Program:

"TORAH LEARNING FOR SENIORS"

Torah Learning; Hot Food; Transportation; No Charge

The CMC is currently in the process of launching an exciting new, multi-layered program to provide in-depth Torah learning classes for seniors.

The new "CMC Torah Learning" program is being overseen by Rabbi Levi Liberow, who recently moved to Chicago with his young family. Rabbi Liberow is a respected Torah scholar and experienced educator, and brings a warm and sensitive approach to his Torah classes.

Under the two options of this program (see below), each class will be personalized to the particular Torah-study interests and background level of its participants.

From beginners to advanced Torah scholars, all seniors who are enthusiastic about Torah learning will be sure to derive tremendous satisfaction and joy from participating in one (or more) of these classes.

The classes will be scheduled on weekday afternoons between 2-4pm. Participants may select to study subject matter from a variety of classical options, such as Chumash (Parsha), Gemara, Halacha, Chassidus.

The CMC's Torah learning program will offer the following two options:

1. Personalized, "Chavrusa-Style" Learning

For seniors who are unable to leave their residence, the CMC will come to your home, nursing home or rehab facility to provide personalized, "chavrusa-style" Torah learning classes.

2. Group Learning

For seniors who are able to leave their residence, the CMC will provide round-trip transportation to our Center on Touhy Ave to join a Torah learning class given by a variety of Torah educators and speakers. Hot food and refreshments will also be provided.

There is no charge for participation in the CMC's Torah learning program. Donations are welcome and appreciated.

If you know of any seniors in the community who may be interested in participating in the CMC's new Torah learning program, or if you have any suggestions for guest Torah educators, please let us know by replying to this email, so that we can continue to develop and add new classes.
