Subject: [chicago-aneinu] Walk-ins welcomed this Motzai Shabbos!

Community Melava Malka this Motzai Shabbos at  Congregation Kesser Maariv, 4341 Golf Road, Skokie at 7:30 pm.

  "Halachik Dilemmas in Counterterrorism" will be presented by Rabbi Dr. David Hertzberg.  

Rabbi Dr. Hertzberg will discuss the Torah perspective on issues such as crisis decision-making; enhanced interrogation techniques; profiling; mitzvah observance as a spy; Shabbos and national security. 

Rabbi Dr. Hertzberg will serve as Scholar-in-Residence this Shabbos, Parshas Vayeira, November 15-16. 

There will be an Oneg Shabbat on Friday night at 7:30 at the Shul. The topic will be "Akeidas Yitzchak and the Centrality of Jerusalem in Jewish History." 

Shabbos after lunch Rabbi Dr.  Hertzberg will discuss "November and the History of Modern Israel."
