As you are probably aware, there is currently a 9:00 pm curfew throughout Chicago.

We have been in touch with the police and we have been told that a mikvah visit does not constitute a violation of the Chicago curfew.

In the event that you do get pulled over going to or from the mikvah, just tell them this is for a MIKVAH visit which is allowed as per Sergeant Sofere. The officers have instructions to allow you to proceed.

We thank Rabbi Soroka and the Agudah for their help with this.
