This week's idea on Mishna 5:15 is written by Rebbetzin Yael Roodyn, female educator for Jewish Futures and Rebetzin of Finchley Federation synagogue. Yael only met Lucy Dee hy'd once or twice – and very briefly at that – but she and the whole Dee family have made a very strong impression. Yael attended a beautiful women's event at Hampstead Garden Suburb synagogue, to study Torah material on positive speech in the merit of Lucy, Maia and Rina. Since this Pirkei Avot Project's inception Yael has been preparing weekly study sessions for teens at Finchley Fed to discuss the weekly article and to consider associated sources.
