Some Precious Memories

Today, 21 Iyar, is the yahrtzeit of Rabbi Moshe Sherer Z'L, Moshe ben Chaim Yehuda, longtime leader of Agudas Yisroel until his petirah in 1998. Rabbi Sherer served as president of Agudath Israel of America as well as co-chair of the Agudas Yisroel World Organization. In these capacities, he carried out the directives of Gedolei Yisroel to strengthen authentic Torah Judaism and promote Jewish interests in America and across the globe. He was respected across the entire spectrum of Torah Jewry as a public servant who served his people with skill, dignity and integrity. It has been 27 years since his passing, but his legacy lives on through the organizational movement to which he devoted his life: Agudas Yisroel. We share some precious memories below.
