Missing Israeli Woman Confirmed Killed In Berlin Attack

An Israeli woman who was declared missing following the deadly terror attack at a Berlin market earlier in the week was confirmed dead this morning, i24 News reports.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry said it was in contact with the family of Dalia Elyakim in order to arrange bringing her body to Israel for kevurah.

Alikim’s two children travelled to Berlin in order to give DNA samples that helped to identify their mother’s body.
Israeli President Reuven Rivlin expressed his great sadness upon hearing the news of Elyakim’s death in the “horrific” terror attack in Berlin.
“From here I send my sympathies and offer strength to her family who are by the bedside of her husband Rami, who was seriously injured in the attack, and we pray for his speedy recovery,” he said. “We will remain united and determined in the face of this murderous terror which strikes across the world, and we will fight relentlessly against extremism and hatred.”
