Bochurim gathered on Wednesday in Crown Heights in the merit of a speedy recovery for Schneur Zalman Boaron, who was critically injured in a car accident on Tuesday.
The 13 year old, who was hit by a car while crossing a street in Crown Heights, is still unconscious after suffering severe bleeding in the brain due to injuries from the accident.
The bochurim joined in 770's main Shul to learn Likutei Sichos in his merit.
His parents, Nissim and Rina Boaron, wrote an emotional plea asking the public to pray for their son.
"We have a moment of calm... and wanted to thank you for all the prayers and support we have received from around the world.
"Thank G-d Schneur is holding strong, and we are confident we will soon be able to announce to everyone about the Seudas Hodaah, but for now we are begging for G-d's mercy, so we ask all of you to please continue praying for him," they said.
"May we merit to see once again see him smiling," they added.
