Subject: GIVE TO OUR HEI TEVES APPEAL

PLEASE HELP US ON THIS AUSPICIOUS DAY

Dear Kehot Friend,

Tonight is the fifth day of the Hebrew month of Tevet. It marks the modern-day Chasidic holiday, known as Hei Teves, which celebrates the victory, in 1987, of the holy books contained in the Central Chabad-Lubavitch Library over those that sought to monetize them and strip them from their sanctity.

This is the day which the Rebbe proclaimed as a day on which we celebrate holy books, authored by righteous, G-dly people.

Please choose a dedication opportunity of a book by one of the following leaders of Chabad-Lubavitch:

Kehot Publication Society is a not-for-profit organization, and depends on donors like you to subsidize our research and development efforts. In addition, our donors offer our customers the opportunity of purchasing the end product at reduced retails prices.

Thank you for your continuous support.

With all good wishes.
Rabbi Yosef B. Friedman

P.S. Our annual Hei Teves Sale is currently live here.

"One who contributes from his wealth for the purpose of writing or publishing a book of a tzaddik --

At any given time, and in any corner of the world, that a person studies from this book, the tzaddik on high evokes merit on behalf of the donor through whom the book was disseminated."

--The Rebbe (Igrot Kodesh, vol 2)
