הצעתי ובקשתי, אשר במשך כל יום ויום משלושים ימי ההכנה לעשירי בשבט - יוסיף כל אחד ואחת, כולל גם קטנים וקטנות, (א) בלימוד התורה, (ב) ובנתינת הצדקה...

ולכן מן הראוי שגם פרטי ההכנות לעשירי בשבט יהיו באופן ד"עשה לך רב" שהרי אינו יכול לסמוך על עצמו לקבוע אם ההכנה שלו היא ״כדבעי לי׳ למיעבד״ או שעדיין יכול להוסיף עוד יותר, ולכן, עליו לשאול ולהתדבר בכל זה עם ה״רב״

My suggestion and request is that in each day of the Thirty Days of preparation for yud Shevat, that each and every individual, including children, increase in (1) learning Torah, (2) and Giving Tzedaka.

It is proper that all the details be consulted with a "Rav" (mentor), as one cannot rely on themselves to guarantee that the preparations are being done properly, or there is actually more to be done.

Dear Yaakov,

As we have entered into the Thirty Day period of preparation for Yud Shevat, we are inspired and motivated by the incredible success of Project Likkutei Sichos. but the Rebbe teaches we cannot be satisfied. Another Sicha, another yid, another Shiur, more in-depth, we must grow and expand. This is our Hachana for Yud Shevat.

Why does Yosef send his father so many gifts if he is expecting him to come down to Mitzraim imminently? The gift includes aged wine which is something special, which teaches us a lesson in Yosef's emuna that he aged the wone, knowing the salvation is coming.

Rabbi Jonatahn Sacks' first book was Torah Studies - The Rebbe's Sichos translated and adapted into English. As this week's Sicha Beis is translated in his book, and as a tribute to Rabbi Sacks, Project Likkutei Sichos commissioned Chief Rabbis from around the world to give a "Shiur" In this Sicha.

This is a beautiful kovod to Rabbi Sacks, and an opportunity to introduce many more yidden to the beauty of Likkutei Sichos. These Shiurim are presented in a style that even the uninitiated can enjoy and appreciate the Rebbe's message. Please share the links with those in your sphere of influence.

Just like in the good old days -- you now have the opportunity to contribute your reflections on the sichos being learned every week, and have them published in a kovetz ha'oros. Email by Thursday at noon ET to submit your haoros for publication.

As we go into the final month before Yud Shevat, 71 years of the Rebbe's Nesius, and completing 1 year of learning, and 5 full volumes of, Likkutei Sichos, we must continue as the Rebbe teaches Maalin Bakoidesh to increase in holiness. To do that properly, we are going to need your help.

This year, 19 Teves, (January 3, 2021) will be "Project Likkutei Sichos Campaign Day" to promote awareness and financial support for the Project.
