Dear Aneinu Members,
We are now in the busiest time of the year as we have begun preparing for Pesach. I find myself thinking back to last year at this time when Covid had just begun changing our lives in unimaginable ways. So many people were forced to make Pesach for the first time and at the last minute. Somehow, we all managed to deal with the new reality. It was a real learning experience. This Shabbos maybe we can all take some time to think about what we have learned over this past year. I like to think that we have all become better and stronger people. We know that Hashem is speaking to us. Some people have made the connection between Covid and Kavod. Is Hashem asking us to strengthen our feelings of achdus? Are we treating people with kavod? Especially at this time it might become easier to lose our cool and snap at our children, husbands or just random people on the street. Let's make a concerted effort to stay calm even when we are under pressure or feeling exasperated. Who knows? Maybe that one time we hold back instead of lashing out is all that's needed to show Hashem we are truly ready for Mashiach and the geulah shlema!
