One year ago, our world was upended when COVID-19 first began hitting close to home.
Thankfully, many of us have since created a "new normal." But for thousands of families and individuals in our communities, the financial situation remains bleak. Many remain jobless or under-employed and so many are forever impacted by the tragic loss of life.
That's why it's more important than ever to join the Orthodox Union's annual Maos Chitim (Passover food) campaign to deliver hope to families this Passover – donate now.
Even under normal circumstances for those who struggle all year long to pay the rent or mortgage, costly tuition fees, endless bills…a proper Passover is simply impossible. How much more so during the pandemic, when needs are greater than ever?
The OU's Maos Chitim campaign will provide funds to kosher food pantries and other community organizations providing food to those in dire need this Passover.
Join us and, together, we can deliver hope – along with food and other Passover essentials – to our fellow Jews facing intense financial strain. As always, we encourage you to support your local maos chitim efforts but we also urge you support the OU's 5781 Maos Chitim campaign today.
