Freilichen Chanukah from Miriam Baver!!
The Kedushas Levi says that each night of Chanukah is mesugal for different things for which to daven. Tonight, on this second night of Chanukah, our prayers should focus on Shalom Bayit and Shidduchim.
Both Shalom Bayit and shidduchim require that we go beyond our own thoughts and needs. While we retain our individuality, putting another above ourselves is a true form of emulating Hashem and bringing His light into this world on Chanukah and every day.
May Hashem bless each one of us with Shalom in our homes and in each interaction with family, friends and the world around us. May each one searching find his or her bashert speedily. And may each one who has found their bashert see and recognize the good Hashem has gifted them each day!
