Simanim 363-365, which segue into Hilchos Eiruvei Chatzeiros, serve as the foundation for the structure of our contemporary eiruvin.
As discussed, carrying is only permitted within a reshus hayachid, which requires halachically accepted mechitzos. This includes an acceptable "tzuras hapesach" which can consist of small posts (aka "lechi") and a crossbeam (aka "korah"), which have very minimal size requirements.
Hence, through a series of posts connected on top by narrow "beams" or even wires, a rather large area can conceivably be considered a reshus hayachid, thus permitting carrying within, if surrounded with many of such tzuros hapesach.
There are many other halachic considerations which must be taken into account in order to be a considered a halachically compliant eiruv chatzeiros, some of which will be addressed in the forthcoming simanim.
Of course, one must consult a competent Rabbinic authority to determine the validity of any eiruv and the permissibility of carrying therein.
