Message from EVP Rabbi Moshe Hauer for Yom Kippur Kattan and the Situation in Israel

Wednesday, January 10, is Erev Rosh Chodesh Shevat, Yom Kippur Kattan, a day traditionally dedicated to an extra measure of prayer.

We join the Israeli Chief Rabbinate and the Forum of Hostage Families in calling for Jews around the world to come together as one united people and make the tefillot of that day especially meaningful during this most challenging time. Let us take this opportunity – privately and together as a tzibbur – to strengthen our tefillot on behalf of the hostages, the soldiers, the wounded, and the entire Jewish people in Israel and everywhere.

There will be a mass tefillah gathering at the Kotel on Wednesday at 3:30 pm Israel time. It can be joined online at mizrachi.org/livekotel.

אבינו מלכינו קבל ברחמים וברצון את תפילתנו

May our tefillot merit Hashem's mercy.

Rabbi Moshe Hauer
Executive Vice President
