Shabbat Shel Ahavah
Shabbat Shel Ahavah
Orthodox Union

Recent events in Israel and in the United States have generated sadness, uncertainty, and fear. But they have also produced a powerful drive to embrace our Jewish identity, now more than ever.

That drive has moved the Jewish Federations of North America to make the Shabbos of January 19 and 20 the Shabbat Shel Ahavah, a Shabbos of Love, inspiring people to come together with family, community, and supportive neighbors to (re)engage with Jewish tradition through the sacred joy of Shabbos. We are inspired to join this effort and celebrate this Shabbos with so many of our brothers and sisters, recognizing this opportunity to elevate our Shabbos for this week and for the future.

Watch uplifting perspectives on how you can enhance Shabbos by former U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman, journalist Kassy Dillon and TikTok executive Michal Oshman.
